Refund Policy — Stop Motion Studio

1. General Policy

Stop Motion Studio is a digital software product distributed through our website, the Microsoft Store, the Google Play Store, and the Amazon AppStore. Due to the digital nature of this product, all sales are generally final.

This policy applies to purchases made directly through our website and is consistent with the refund policies of the Microsoft Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon AppStore, through which Stop Motion Studio is also available.

2. No Refund After Activation

Once your license key has been activated, your purchase is non-refundable. By completing your purchase on our website, you acknowledge that:

  • You are purchasing a digital product that is delivered and accessible immediately upon payment.
  • Activation of the license constitutes use of the product.
  • You waive any right of withdrawal or refund upon activation.

3. Exceptions

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate purchase — You were charged more than once for the same license.
  • Non-delivery — Your license key was never delivered and our support team was unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.
  • Defective product — The software fails to function as described, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue.

Refund requests based on change of mind, incompatibility with third-party software, or dissatisfaction with features that are accurately described in the product listing are not eligible.

4. EU / EEA Customers

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. However, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive, this right is waived once digital content has been made available and you have given your express consent to immediate delivery.

By completing your purchase and activating your license, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon activation.

If the product is defective or does not conform to the description, your statutory rights under EU law remain unaffected.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 3, please contact us within 14 days of purchase using out contact formular. Please include your order number, the email address used for purchase, and a description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
