Add Audio

Now it’s time for the finishing touches. You can enhance your movie by adding background music, audio clips, or your own recorded audio. Stop Motion Studio comes with dozens of ready-to-use sound effects for you to choose from.

  1. With your project open, select the frame where you want the audio to begin.
  2. Press the Add Media button and select Audio.
  3. Choose one of the following options:
    • Recordings: Select a previously recorded voiceover.
    • Theme Music: Choose a music clip from the included library.
    • Sound Effects: Select an audio clip from the included effects.
    • Shared: Access music synced from your computer.
    • Library: Pick music from your device’s library.
    • Project Media: Select audio from your project’s media library.
  4. To preview the audio before adding it, press the play symbol.
  5. Select the desired audio clip to add it to your movie project.
  6. Once imported, you’ll see an symbol on top of the frame’s thumbnail in the frame-by-frame editor.

If you add another clip to the frame, it will replace the current audio clip. Need to add two clips to a frame? Don’t worry, just use the frame next to it. You won’t hear the difference.
