Restore a Deleted Project File

If you deleted a project but still have Stop Motion Studio installed, first check whether you saved or shared an editable project file to Files, cloud storage, another device, or a computer. If you find one, import it into Stop Motion Studio.

On iPhone or iPad, open the Files app and check Recently Deleted for a project file you previously saved there. If the file appears, recover it before importing it into the app. The Files app can recover only files it contains; it cannot recover every project deleted inside Stop Motion Studio.

If you deleted the app instead of just a project, see I Deleted the App and My Projects Are Gone. If your school stores projects in iCloud, check the same account and your school's storage setup.

We do not keep copies of your projects. If there is no saved project file or backup, support cannot restore it. To protect future work, share an editable project file regularly.
